Prospecting {Sara/Open}

 Chloe's been back in Siren Cove going on a week now and she still hasn't found the right place to call home, despite her realtor's best efforts. Living in a hotel is fun...for about two days, and then it gets real old real fast. She feels like she can't fully unpack, in case she finds a residence she needs to pounce on, and her purses are suffering for it. Poor babies need to be displayed, not locked up in stuffy, but seriously cute, suitcases.

So today, she's hit the pavement again, taking it upon herself to walk around Siren Cove and call on buildings that catch her fancy. But does she want to be near the water? Or in town? Possibly in a more private area just on the outskirts? The possibilities and Chloe's indecisiveness are bringing on a headache when she spots a shop, unmarked with a giant FOR SALE sign painted across the windows. Chloe tilts her head, because this storefront is incredibly charming. It's really too bad it's a shop and not a condo of some sort. As she admires the craftsmanship, the store owner steps out, almost running smack into Chloe. The two get to talking, and soon she learns from the other woman that the store was a failed attempt at an all-natural, homemade bath and cosmetic company, with a healthy mix of magic. The woman gave up on the shop idea when she quickly ran out of funds before she could even create her first batch of soaps.

Chloe takes the woman's business card, tucking it away safely into her designer bag as she wanders off to her next stop: Quill. Standing in line to order a coffee and a snack, she pulls the woman's card out of her purse, flipping it over in her fresh mani.

"Hm...owning a business wouldn't be bad, right?" She has the money. She could invest. Or buy the business plan off the woman. It's tempting, exhilarating even, but is she ready for that kind of responsibility? She hums to herself, completely lost in thought as she weighs out the pros and cons.

ooc: This post is for Chloe and Sara to become business partners. But if you'd like to run into Chloe just for interactions, feel free. She'll be chillin' at Quill and open to meeting new and/or old friends!

"Really! I left Siren Cove at 15 and for some reason, haven't explored the bars since I made my return." Chloe steps inside and falls immediately in love with the atmosphere. "Where do you wanna sit?" she asks, raising her voice to fight the loud, but really great, music.

"Damn, girl! You need to get your nightlife on," Sara grins, gesturing towards a table. "How about over there?"

[queenchloe]

Chloe sits down in the booth, scooting around the table so Sara can get in as well. "I know, I know! I didn't get to go out much in Korea. Strict rules with my agency and all."

"Ewww... Glad you got out of that. I think I'd die a little if I didn't get to go out once in awhile."

Sara gestures over a waitress, giving her her order before turning to Chloe. "What will you have?" she asks, nodding to the waitress.

Chloe gives her order to the waitress before turning back to Sara. "It wasn't bad. I didn't have time to want a night life, actually. Lots of shows and performances. It was amazing."

"Damn, seriously? So... you were a singer or?" she asks, curious to learn more about her new friend.

[queenchloe]

"Singer, yup. I trained for four years then debuted as a solo artist. Singing, dancing, music videos, photoshoots, the works."

"Ugh. I wish I had your ambition. I wouldn't be the failure of the family if I did," she chuckles. The waitress comes back with their drinks and Sara pays, giving her a nice tip and a wink that sends her away giggling. "As it is, I'm sure they'll enjoy me getting into business."

[queenchloe]

Chloe tastes her drink, humming with satisfaction at the taste. "Hey, you'll show them who's the success now. And just think, you can tell them you're going in with an international star."

"They'll probably try and adopt you," Sara chuckles, sipping at her drink. "And we do not need any more kids."

[queenchloe]

"Um, no thanks. You said you gotta fight for food and I don't do well with elbows in my face," she laughs.

Sara's grin widens. "Hey, all that fighting for food led to me being awesome at business stuff, okay. I know how to fight for what we'll need."

[queenchloe]

Chloe holds up a hand, high-fiving Sara. "This is going to be a beautiful business. You'll throw a punch for a soap and I'll throw a tantrum."

[thedeciever]

"Together, we're going to conquer the soap business," she smirks, downing her drink and ordering another. "Any ideas on what we're gonna call our little shop?"

[queenchloe]

Chloe purses her lips, thinking, as she plays with the glass in her hand. "Hmmm...Plush?"

Sara thinks it over, rolling a coin between her knuckles as she does. Its an old habit and one she doesn't even think about anymore.

"I like it. It sounds cozy, which is good for bath products, right?"

[queenchloe]

"Perfect! Something cozy, and cute, to go along with our store." Chloe beams at that. "Man, I never thought I'd co-own a store."

[thedeciever]

Sara laughs, shaking her head. "Me either. I assumed I'd just be the family disappointment for the rest of my life."

[queenchloe]

"I think we'll make a good team. And prove your family wrong."
